Christmas Blog

Tuesday 13th December 2016

Season Greetings from your favourite rock and pop live covers band.

It’s that time of year again, where Christmas songs are inescapable and we turn to each other for winter joy. The turkey roasting, the chestnuts on the open fire and the sound of sleigh bells jangling amidst the middle distance.

The rumble of the Fiat “Duke”ato's tyres, the clatter of the flight cases, the dynamite sets of power tunes night after night. The thrilling light show, thick and warm musical sound, the laughs, the cheers and the “one more song” chants...

....our apologies, we have just suspected these may not be everyone’s typical festive experiences.

However, being part of the UKs finest function and event band, they indeed are! We thoroughly enjoy the winter season as it’s one of the most thrilling to be onstage. With parties, events and winter weddings, The Fusion Dukes step it up a notch each winter to cover ground up and down the UK.

Rolling out with our new production line and live setup, we now bring an even suaver light show and musical journey to each show. The first addition being our moving lights, have you witnessed them in the technical rehearsals?

Check some clips Here and Here... There is literally never too much!

As you can see, it sets an even more epic tone, for an already epic band. As well as the newer light show, you also have some magnificent additions of songs to our repertoire for the winter period. Featuring such modern belters as “Girls (the 1975), 24K Magic (Bruno Mars), Sorry (Justin Bieber) & Problem (Ariana Grande)”. We also threw some more classics in there such as “Everybody Wants to Rule the World” and “When You’re gone”.

So, you can tell that we’re loaded up for our winter season and the new year. And to top all of this, something we’re developing for release in the new year is a live streaming system. We have been inundated with requests from potential clients and TFD alumni alike with more and more footage from some of our sets. So we are now working on being able to broadcast portions of our shows live to Facebook, so give us a like and watch that space.

We wish you a joyous and jovial winter and we hope to see you out there very soon.

Many thanks,

The Fusion Dukes.
